HEALTHY BANANA SMOOTHIE RECIPE – We believe that most of you are familiar with smoothie, but do you know what smoothie means? Well, smoothie (occasionally spelled smoothee or smoothy) is a thick beverage made of blended raw fruits or vegetables, with other ingredients such as water, ice, dairy products or sweeteners. It is similar to milkshake but beside uses dairy products, it also uses ice cream as the ingredients. People usually consume it when they are in diet because it is very healthy. It is also healthier than fruit juice because it contains dietary fiber. So good for you if you are in diet program. We will give you one of smoothie recipe made from banana, take a look at the following recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of Ambon banana
  • 100 ml orange water
  • 100 ml liquid milk
  • 20 g sugar
  • 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
  • Ice cubes

Steps

  1. Peel the banana and slice into small pieces.
  2. Put all the ingredients, except the vanilla ice cream, into the blender and blend them at low speed until smooth.
  3. Pour the banana smoothie into the serving glass and add the vanilla ice cream on the top of it.
  4. Enjoy it.
