WEDANG ASLE WITH ALMOND AND FERMENTED CASSAVA RECIPE – A traditional hot beverage which is very suitable to taste in the cold weather. Wedang asle is sweet, unique, and beneficial for your body. Ingredients
- 1 l liquid coconut milk
- 150 g brown sugar, finely chopped
- 50 g red ginger, pounded, toasted, and sliced
- 2 pieces pandan leaf
- 5 cm cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. salt
Filling Ingredients
- Fermented cassava
- Almond, roasted
Steps
- Cook all the ingredients al a low heat until boiled and aromatic while keep being stirred in order not to make the coconut milk separated. Remove from the heat and strain.
- Prepare a serving bowl, then add the filling into the bowl. Put the filling until half of the bowl.
- Pour the hot wedang asle until almost full.
- Wedang Asle with Almond and Fermented Cassava is now ready to be served.
