BANANA BREAD RECIPE – I really love the scent of baking banana so if I have some bananas left at house it’s definitely attract me to make it into bread. Yesterday, I planned to make special banana bread but I was really tired. Finally, I just made a simple banana bread. Nothing fancy here just moist and delicious bread with loads of banana flavor. Yup, banana bread is a recipe not only me but you can make anytime and anywhere, with a mixer or with a fork. This simple banana recipe Indonesian-recipes brought to you today doesn’t need a mixer! What you need are just a whisk, fork, or solid spoon to mix the batter. My family loves this banana bread and I think you’ll love it too. Enjoy!

  • 250 gr wheat flour
  • 1 or 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 gr sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon water
  • 115 ml oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 250 gr crushed banana
  • 115 ml fresh milk
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  2. Stir together milk and orange juice until lumpy. And then, add sugar while keep stirring. After that, add oil, egg, salt, vanilla and bananas. Combine well.
  3. Sift the flour and then put into the banana mixture. Gently stir until well blended. Do not overmix.
  4. Pour the batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 40-50 min.
