CORNED BEEF CAKE RECIPE – Corned beef is cooked beef which has been preserved in salty water and spices and often sold in tins. It is usually eaten as dish menu. But, have you ever tried making a cake with corned beef and steamed potato as its additional ingredients? If you have not ever tried it, then you can try at least once to make it with the guidance of the following recipe of Corned Beef Cake. Savor it.

Ingredients A

  • 350 g margarine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 325 g wheat flour
  • 25 g cornstarch

Ingredient B

  • 50 g cheddar cheese, grated

Ingredients C

  • 50 g potato, steamed and mashed
  • 50 g corned beef

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven. Cream the margarine and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs gradually while being mixed well then pour the wheat flour and cornstarch alternately while being sifted and stirred.
  3. Take one-third of the cake mixture. Add the grated cheddar cheese and stir well until just combined.
  4. Add the ingredients C into the two-third of the mixture and stir.
  5. Pour half of the second cake mixture into a baking tray with 22 cm of diameter and 10 cm of height spread with margarine and lined with a baking paper.
  6. Then, cover it using the first mixture and make sure to flatten it.
  7. Last, pour the rest of the second mixture on the top of the first mixture and flatten it.
  8. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 190°C for about 45 minutes until well baked.
  9. Remove from the oven and cool the cake down, then cut the cake according to your taste and serve it.
