  • 700 gr wheat flour
  • 400 gr butter
  • 250 gr soft sugar
  • 75 ml ice water
  • 6 egg yolks
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 100 gr almonds, chopped


  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons soft sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk


  1. Mix well the wheat flour with butter, soft sugar, egg yolks, and salt. Mix until the dough looks like sand.
  2. Pour the ice water into the dough, mix, and press the dough using wooden spoon so you can form the dough.
  3. Take some dough, roll the dough on plastic paper until the dough’s is ½ cm in thickness. Put the dough in the baking pan which has been coated by butter. Bake for 10 minutes or until the dough half-cooked.
  4. Cut the dough into a rectangular shape based on your preference. Cover the cake with coating ingredients and almonds. Bake the cake for another 10 minutes or until the cake turns golden in color. Remove and set aside, allow to cool.
