PUMPKIN PUDDING RECIPE – Pumpkin or as Indonesian people call it as waluh, is a fruit which is often found in kolak. It is because pumpkin is very familiar to be cooked as one of ingredients of kolak. Kolak itself is one of special menu in Ramadan, but you can also make it every time you want at home. This time, we will try to make another recipe from pumpkin as a dessert which is pumpkin pudding. Pumpkin pudding is easy to make and it does not need many ingredients that will stress you out.   • 700 ml water
  • 1 pack white gelatin powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 glass of steamed pumpkin, mashed (200 g)


  1. Mix together the water, gelatin powder, and sugar. Cook until boiled. Add the mashed pumpkin into it, stir well.
  2. Put some tablespoons of the gelatin mixture into egg yolk, stir well, then put the mixture again into the gelatin mixture, stir, turn off the heat.
  3. Put the mixture into a tray/ mold.
