SOYBEAN CURD CARAMEL PUDDING RECIPE – Have you ever tasted Soybean Curd Caramel Pudding? It is a pudding that uses soybean curd as the main ingredient. In Indonesia, soybean curd can be found both in traditional markets and supermarkets. It is one of Indonesian special food made of soybean. Pudding Ingredients

  • 1 pack white gelatin powder
  • 200 g sutera soybean curd, soaked in water, drained, and pounded
  • 100 g sugar
  • 600 cc soya milk
  • 8 tsp. salt
  • 200 g canned lychee, drained

Ginger Caramel Sauce Ingredients

  • 100 g sugar
  • 250 cc water
  • 2 cm ginger, grated then squeezed its water as 2 tablespoon.

Steps

  1. Ginger caramel sauce: Heat up the sugar in a frying pan until melted. Add water and ginger water, stir and remove from the heat.
  2. Cook the white gelatin powder, sugar, and salt in a pan. Add the soya milk then stir it well.
  3. Add the sutera soybean curd, stir and cook until boiled at medium heat while being stirred. Remove from the heat.
  4. Keep stirring until the steam gone and it is warm. Pour the pudding mixture into a pudding mold with bowl shape. Let it solid and serve it with ginger caramel sauce.
