TOFU SALAD RECIPE – The best factor concerning tofu besides its nutritional value is the way it carries distinct flavors. I am also so sure, another reason why you want to try out this tofu salad is that you are looking for a vegan dish that is high in protein and low in sugar at the same time. Now, you will know how easy it is to find!

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sweet sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 250 grams tofu
  • 100 grams peas beans, cut into 3 cm
  • 2 small carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 100 grams red cabbages, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts, roughly mashed

Directions

  1. Sauce: in a bowl, mix sweet sauce, ginger, soy sauce, and oil.
  2. Cut tofu 2 cm.
  3. Stir in tofu slices. Mix tofu with the sauce, stir well.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Cook the peas in boiling water for 1 minute. Lift and put in ice water. Drain.
  6. Finally, combine peas, carrots, cauliflower, and tofu. Stir well. Place in a bowl or serving dish. Sprinkle mashed peanuts on top and serve immediately.

Preparation: 20 minutes

For: 4 people

You can serve this comfort salad with crisp breadsticks or a glass of iced tea. Yummy…..Yup, if you ask me again about this tofu salad, this is such of my favorite edible recipes as it is so easy, delicious, and hearty.
