CLAM RECIPE WITH PADANG SAUCE – Delicious green clam seasoned with Padang sauce is so tempting. You can serve this menu for your family by following the steps below.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams clam, wash thoroughly
  • 2 pieces bay leaf
  • 1000 ml water to boil

Sauce

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons  margarine
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Sago flour + 1 tablespoon water (to thicken)

Smooth seasoning

  • 3 curly red chilies
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 red chilies

Directions

  1. Boil clam in the water along with the bay leaf until boiling. Strain and discard the water.
  2. Heat  margarine, stir-fried onions, red pepper, and seasoning until the aroma fills the room.
  3. Stir in oyster sauce, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, salt, pepper powder, and sugar. Mix well. Pour the water. Cook until boiling.
  4. Put clams, stir well. Cook until done. Thicken with sago flour. Cooking until done. Lift up and serve.
