CLAM RECIPE WITH PADANG SAUCE – Delicious green clam seasoned with Padang sauce is so tempting. You can serve this menu for your family by following the steps below.
Ingredients
- 500 grams clam, wash thoroughly
- 2 pieces bay leaf
- 1000 ml water to boil
Sauce
- 1 clove of garlic
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 200 ml water
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- Salt and sugar to taste
- Sago flour + 1 tablespoon water (to thicken)
Smooth seasoning
- 3 curly red chilies
- 2 cm ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 red chilies
Directions
- Boil clam in the water along with the bay leaf until boiling. Strain and discard the water.
- Heat margarine, stir-fried onions, red pepper, and seasoning until the aroma fills the room.
- Stir in oyster sauce, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, salt, pepper powder, and sugar. Mix well. Pour the water. Cook until boiling.
- Put clams, stir well. Cook until done. Thicken with sago flour. Cooking until done. Lift up and serve.
