  • 750 gr medium-size fresh squid
  • 2 lemons, squeezed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 150 gr wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • a little ginger, mashed
  • cooking oil to taste


  1. Firstly, wash clean squid and then cut.
  2. Soak squid in lemon juice, stir until blended, and then let stand for half an hour to get rid of bad smell.
  3. While waiting, prepare a bowl to make dough to coat squid. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic, and chicken broth. Combine all ingredients until well blended.
  4. Then, add eggs and give another stir. Make sure there are no lumps in the batter.
  5. After that, put squids into the dough.
  6. Furthermore, deep-fried squid in hot oil over medium heat.
  7. Deep-fried for about 3 minutes.
