FRIED SNAPPER RECIPE – Studies reveal that like most of the other fishes snapper too is low in saturated fat diet, high in good quality proteins, omega 3 fatty acids (4 ounces provides 15% daily value for omega 3 fatty acid). This fish may provide several health benefits when you eat it as part of a balanced diet. You can broil it with herbs, make fish soup, or try deep fried snapper and serve it with sauce. In the following recipe, we present you a very simple way in cooking fish namely snapper into a delicious dish. Enjoy.


  • 250 grams snapper fillets
  • 40 grams flour
  • 50 grams margarine
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 15 grams onions
  • 10 grams garlic
  • 3 pieces orange leaves
  • 5 grams coriander
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 1 piece chili padi


  1. Deep-fried snapper with bread crumb until dry.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix well all seasoning, then smear on the top part of the snapper. Cook over the salamander, to heat the upper part.
  3. Serve with cooked rice and fresh vegetables.
