HOMEMADE NOODLES RECIPEEach month my friends and I get together for a dinner and also in Bahasa we call it arisan (it is regular social gathering whose members contribute to and take turns at winning an aggregate sum of money). This time dinner was at my house, and homemade noodles was on the menu. I was a bit afraid actually that the noodles would turn out like rubber. Fortunately, everything went well.

The secret is steaming the noodles before cooking. I remembered my mum said that she usually cooks 2 versions of fried noodles. One which uses soy sauce and another one which doesn’t. She steams the noodles first if she doesn’t use soy sauce. I also must thank my great-grandma, the best cook in our family. The recipe came from her and becomes one of our family’s best recipes. My family and I love it, my friends love it, and we hope you do too!
