LAMB NUGGET RECIPE – The red meat is consumed in various parts of the world, not just in Indonesia. Lamb meat is rich in high-quality protein and it also contains iron and zinc. Unfortunately, the meat has no fiber and is high enough in cholesterol. It offers many benefits to the body, such as as a source of energy, sources of antioxidants, and to prevent anemia, boost the immune system, maintain the healthy of the eyes and the nervous system, and maintain the healthy of the bones.

Some tips for you, there are three stages in processing lamb meat i.e. boiling, washing, and finally seasoning. This order should not be reversed. Once boiled, discard the rest of the water and then washed. After that, the meat is ready to be seasoned. Get rid of the bad smell  using spices such as sap of pineapples, pears, ginger, lemongrass, and basil. Simply mash the spices and then smear it on meat. You can also use papaya leaves to wrap the meat or use lime juice to remove the bad smell.

  • 2 ounces of lamb meat, cut
  • 80 gr seasoning flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Bread crumb
  • 2 eggs
  • Banana leaves


  1. Using blender, puree the meat.
  2. Combine meat with seasoning flour, salt, and sugar.
  3. Wrap the meat in banana leaves.
  4. Steam the meat for 1 hour (until tender).
  5. Let stand for 5 minutes and then coat thoroughly with egg and bread crumb.
  6. Shape according to your taste and then deep fried until cooked.

Lamb nugget can be a delish side dish for your warm rice or simply a yummy to-go snack.
