CHICKEN SOUP RECIPE– Chicken soup is a delicious menu that you have to try when you visit Semarang, Indonesia. A fresh and smooth ayam kampung meat can be your great choices for your breakfast or lunch ideas.


  • 300 grams ayam kampung meat, washed thoroughly
  • 1 ½ liter water
  • 150 grams soun noodle
  • 3 scallion, chopped roughly
  • 2 lemongrass, pounded
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced roughly
  • 2 salam leaves
  • 200 grams bean sprouts
  • 2 ½ salt
  • 1 teaspoon chicken powder broth

Grounded ingredients

  • 200 grams onions
  • 250 grams garlic
  • 80 grams candlenut
  • 2 gingers


  • 5 tablespoons fried onions


  1. Boil chicken meat for 1 ½ hours until the meat is soft in texture, remove and set aside. Fry in hot oil until the meat turns brown in color, remove and chop the meat using your hand.
  2. Soto broth: stir-fried the grounded seasoning, lemongrass, and salam leaves until the aroma fills the room. Pour the broth seasoning and the left of the chicken broth, cook again until the broth is boiled. Salt the broth and add powder chicken broth, combine, remove and set aside.
  3. Serving: place the chicken slices, bean sprouts, tomatoes, soun noodle, and scallion on the serving bowl. Then pour the broth into the bowl, and sprinkle fried onions on top.
