EGG WHITE CORN SOUP RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 250 grams sweet corn kernels
  • 1500 ml broth, bring to a boil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, mashed
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 1/4 nutmeg, pounded
  • 1 stalk celery, cut into pieces
  • 100 grams carrots, chopped
  • 2 egg white, beaten
  • 1 leek, sliced 2 cm angle
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Boil half-cooked kernels, drain.
  2. Simmer broth, stir in garlic, add celery, nutmeg, pepper, and salt to taste, stir, and cook over low heat. Strain and bring back to boil for another time.
  3. Stir in sweet corn and carrots, and cook until  corn and carrots are cooked.
  4. Pour egg white, while keep stirring broth to the boil again. Lastly, stir in scallions, stir well, and lift. Serve while hot.
