FRESH  FRIED CAULIFLOWER RECIPE

Ingredients

600 grams cauliflower, cut based on buds

Layer

  • 50 grams wheat flour
  • 50 grams rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon grated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. Soak cauliflower in salt water for 10 minutes to allow clean of caterpillar or other dirt. Clean, wash, drain.
  2. The coating: combine flour, rice flour, garlic, nutmeg, coriander, and salt in one bowl. Mix well.
  3. Heat the oil over medium heat. Dip cauliflower bud into egg whites, then roll them into the layer. Fry over medium heat until browned yellow in color. Lift, drain. Serve warm with chili sauce or mayonnaise.
