FRIED GOURAMI RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 400 grams gourami, cleaned
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 100 grams cornflour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
  • oil for frying

Sambal

  • 100 grams red pepper
  • 3 red cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon shrimp paste, burned
  • 4 onions
  • 100 grams tomatoes, cut into pieces
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hot cooking oil

Fresh Vegetables

  • 6 beans
  • 3 zucchini
  • 6 cauliflowers
  • 3 basil
  • 1 cucumber

Directions

  1. Smear gourami with lemon juice and salt. Leave it for 15 minutes. Wash for another time.
  2. Cut fish into two parts. Smear gourami with starch, salt, and pepper powder.
  3. Deep-fried in heated oil until cooked.
  4. Sambal terasi: mash red pepper, red chilies, shrimp paste, shallots,tomatoes, salt, and sugar. Flush with hot oil. Mix well.
  5. Serve the fish with shrimp paste chili (sambal terasi)and fresh vegetables.
