  • 12 dried shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 egg
  • 1,5 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 stalk celery
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Oil for frying


  1. Clean and wash mushrooms thoroughly, and then cut celery into pieces.
  2. Mix flour and water and then add eggs and the other spices. Stir well and then add celery.
  3. Add mushrooms in the batter and then deep fried in hot oil until cooked.
  4. Drain and ready for serving.

Mushrooms are one of the simplest things to pan-fry. In any season, exotic mushrooms, such as shiitake is excellent.
