FRIED SPICY SWEET CHICKEN LIVER RECIPE – For Indonesian people, fried spicy sweet chicken liver is a menu that almost everyone ever heard or consumed. This menu is always presented in special event or celebration day. Fried-spicy sweet chicken liver usually is served with potatoes, quail eggs, and fresh shrimp. How to make it? Take a look at the following steps.

Ingredients

  • 500 gr liver
  • 250 ml thick coconut milk
  • 500 gr potatoes (peeled, diced)
  • 300 gr fresh shrimp
  • 30 quail eggs (boiled-peeled)
  • 3 tablespoons frying oil

Seasoning

  • 5 red chilies (sliced)
  • 3 cm ginger plant (pounded)
  • 3 salam leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Softened seasoning

  • 12 onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 100 gr red chilies
  • 1 1/2 cm ginger

Directions:

  1. Peel the potato skins, diced, wash thoroughly.
  2. Boil the liver until half cooked. Diced, then set aside.
  3. Heat the oil, stir-fried the grounded seasoning, salam leaves, and ginger plant until they are fragrant. Add shrimp, mix for a while. Add liver and potatoes.
  4. Pour the coconut milk, stir well. When boiled, add quail eggs and red chilies. Cook until the coconut milk dries up and the potatoes cooked.
