FRIED TEMPEH RECIPE – Fried tempeh is a typical meal of Indonesia. This menu is made from soybean which has very high protein. This menu is well suited if served warm along with cooked rice, a spicy chili sauce and fresh vegetables.


  • 250 grams tempeh
  • 100 ml water
  • Cooking oil

Grounded seasoning

  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 3 onions
  • Salt to taste


  1. Cut tempeh and slice the surface, so that the seasoning can absorb well.
  2. Add water into the smooth seasoning. Combine.
  3. Mix well tempeh and the seasoning, leave it for 15 minutes or more.
  4. Heat oil, deep-fried tempeh over medium heat.
  5. Lift and serve warm.

*) You can serve fried tempeh with fried chicken, fried tofu, fresh vegetables, or shrimp paste sambal.
