FRIED YELLOW VELVETLEAF RECIPE – this menu is a typical food from Bandung, Indonesia.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 5 onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into pieces
  • 3 red chilies, cut angle
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 200 grams yellow velvetleaf, cut 4 cm
  • 2 tablespoons dried shrimps, brewed, bruised, roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Directions

  1. Heat oil.
  2. Stir-fried garlic, onion, red pepper, bay leaves, and tomatoes until fragrant.
  3. Add dried shrimps. Mix well.
  4. Add yellow velvetleaf, sweet soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir until wilted.
  5. Pour water. Cook until no water left.
