LUNGS BALADO SAUCE RECIPE

LUNGS BALADO SAUCE RECIPE –  Everyone loves balado, balado or known as Indonesian sambal/sauce, is a typical cooking technique from Minangkabau, Padang, in which the minced chilies are stir-fried with various spices. Any food ingredients, when cooked to be balado will be a delicious menu. Let’s try to cook this menu. Check the steps below.

Ingredients

  • 1 plate of cooked rice
  • 100 grams beef lungs
  • 3 cm galangal
  • broth powder with beef flavored to taste
  • salt to taste

Sambal/sauce

  • 5 red chilies
  • 1 large red chili
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste

Spinach

  • 5 leaves fresh spinach
  • 50 gram wheat flour
  • Water as needed
  • Chicken powder to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Lung jerked meat: Boil the lungs for 15 minutes to remove the lung stink aroma. Add galangal, broth powder with beef flavored and salt and then stir until the spices well absorbed. Remove and drain until dry.
  2. Fried Spinach: Mix flour, chicken powder and a little salt, and water until thickened in texture. Dip the spinach leaves into the flour mixture until blended, fry in hot oil for 3 minutes until it turns brown in color, remove and drain.
  3. Sambal Balado: Fry all ingredients until wilted, blend until coarse. Stir-fried briefly until fragrant and cooked, remove.
  4. Place the rice, fried spinach and lung jerked meat on serving plate, pour the sauce Balado on top. Serve while warm.
