SAPO EGG TOFU RECIPE WITH VEGETABLES

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying and stir-frying tofu
  • 1 packet of tofu egg/tofu, cut into 1 cm thick
  • 100 grams chicken filet, sliced thinly
  • 600 ml hot broth
  • 100 carrots, sliced thinly
  • 100 grams Chinese cabbage
  • 50 grams peppers, cored, chopped
  • 2 pieces mushroom hioko, soaked in water until it expands, cut into pieces
  • 25 grams fresh button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 scallions, cut into 2 cm
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in 50 ml water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cm ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 50 grams onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oil in the nonstick pan, fry tofu until both sides turn yellow in color, set aside.
  2. Heat the remaining oil, stir-fried garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add chicken, stir until it changes in Add sauce and other condiments, mix well. Pour hot broth, stirring, and cook to a boil. Reduce the heat. Stir in vegetables, mushrooms, and scallions, stirring until the vegetables are half wilted.Thicken with cornstarch, and stir until it boils for another time. Turn off the fire.
  3. Finally, add tofu and stir gently. Add sesame oil, mix well. Best served hot.
