SPLEEN AND LIVER SPICY COCONUT BEEF RECIPE – Spicy coconut beef, a special recipe from Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, is already well-known in various parts of Indonesia. Meat is the main ingredient of this menu. Spleen and liver are some parts of the meat that can be chosen to make this menu.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg spleen and liver, chopped
  • 10 glasses of thick coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons grind chilies
  • 6 kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 turmeric leaf

Mashed Seasoning

  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 turmeric
  • 40 peppercorns
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Mix all the seasoning and chilies with chopped spleen and liver. Put all those ingredients into the frying pan and then add coconut milk.
  2. Add the kaffir lime leaves and turmeric leaves. Stir well, cook until the oily parts come out. Continue to stir-fry over a low flame until it turns dark brown in color.
