  • 5 fresh squid
  • 500 ml coconut milk
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, pounded
  • 1 turmeric leaf
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Smooth seasoning

  • 6 shallots
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 4 red chilies
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 cm turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 4 candlenut
  • 1 tablespoon salt


  1. Clean squid, remove ink pod and skin, then wash to clean. Flush with boiling water and 1 tsp salt, soak it in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet, stir-fried smooth seasoning and lemongrass and turmeric leaves until fragrant.
  3. Pour coconut milk in seasoning stir-fry, cook until boiling.
  4. Stir in squid and tomatoes, reduce heat. Cook briefly until squid cooked. Lift, serve.
