TOFU ROLL RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 2 tofu
  • 500 grams beef without veins
  • 150 grams carrots, peeled, diced
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 50 grams beans, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons fried onions, kneaded
  • 2 stalks of celery, sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, fried, mashed
  • 1 spoon powder nutmeg , magi sauce, and ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Banana leaves for wrapping.

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 150 cc broth
  • Salt, sugar and vinegar to taste

All of the sauce ingredients are mixed and cooked over low heat until thick in texture

Directions

  1. Slice meat, then press the meat but don’t get ripped. Smear the meat with salt and pepper, set aside.
  2. Mash  tofu and add egg whisk, onion, garlic nutmeg powder, salt and pepper to taste. Pour sauce and sauce magi. Stir until blended.
  3. Combine the carrots, beans and also celery. Mix again until mixture is well mixed.
  4. Lay sheets of meat, smear tofu dough on top of the meat layer, then roll.
  5. Wrap with banana leaves and then steam until cooked. Lift and chill, cut in 1 cm in size. Serve with the sauce.
