YELLOW CURRY MEAT RECIPE – A delicious menu of meat and potatoes cooked with yellow curry can you get from the following recipe.


  • 500 grams beef
  • 1 segment ginger
  • 300 grams potatoes
  • 100 grams wet yellow curry powder, ready-made
  • 2 turmeric leaves
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 lime leaves
  • 1 liter water
  • 2 segment galangal
  • 1 tablespoon fried onions for topping


  • 8 grilled red onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 pieces red chili sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/3 tsp cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 segment turmeric


  1. Wash meat thoroughly and diced 2 cm. Boil water over a high heat until the meat cooked and tender. Add hot water, if the meat is not tender. Turn off the stove and leave it on the stove and set aside. Peel potatoes and cut into 2 cm cubes and then set aside. Peel and mash ginger and then set aside. Mash turmeric leaves and then set aside. Peel and slice galangal thinly, set aside.
  2. Seasoning: roast cumin until it is fragrant and dry, set aside. Peel onion and garlic and then bake onion. Bake it until it turns slightly brown in color, set aside. Peel turmeric and cut into pieces. Then mash together onion, garlic and cayenne pepper. Add salt, cumin, nutmeg and cardamom.
  3. Heat the oil over a medium heat and stir-fried grounded spices and curry powder until the aroma fills the room. Add turmeric leaves, lime leaves, bay leaves, galangal and ginger. Stir until the seasoning slightly wilted. Add chunks of potatoes and 2 tablespoons of water. Cook, stirring occasionally until the potatoes are half-cooked. Remove.
  4. Put the potatoes into stew. Heat the meat over medium heat for the second time. Keep boiling until the meat is cooked and the broth is reduced. Lift and pour into a large bowl. Sprinkle fried onions on top and serve with warm rice.


Soak potatoes in salt water so it doesn’t turn black or brown after being cut.
