BIKA SINGKONG RECIPE – Cassava or Indonesian people call it as singkong, contains some nutrient that are good for your health. This fact makes cassava is well considered as good ingredients for your meals menu. You can use cassava as your main ingredient in making some snacks or cake. One of the ideas is making bika singkong. The following are the ingredients and the steps of making the cake.


  • 1 kg grated cassava
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 grated coconut
  • 250 kg sugar
  • 45 gr butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanillin

Mixed and sieved ingredients

  • 30 gr wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


  1. Separate the grated coconut into two parts. The half part is used to make1 glass of coconut milk.
  2. Mix the eggs and sugar until it is expanding in texture.
  3. Mix well the rest of the grated coconut with the grated cassava.
  4. Add butter, vanillin, and coconut milk.
  5. Add the sieved wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan that have been smeared with butter and flour sowing.
  7. Bake the cake to 150 Celsius degree for approximately 50 minutes until done.
