BISCOTTI RECIPE – Biscotti, known also as cantuccini, is an Italian almond biscuits (cookies) that originated in the city of Prato. It is twice-baked, oblong-shaped, dry, crunchy, and dipped in a drink, traditionally Vin Santo. In Indonesia, it is usually served when enjoying time with family, friends, or guests at home. Ingredients A

  • 90 g Filma margarine
  • 30 g Filma BOS
  • 170 g sugar
  • 3 g salt

Ingredient B

  • 8 eggs

Ingredients C

  • 300 g wheat flour
  • 6 g baking powder
  • 15 g dried milk
  • 75 g cashew, chopped
  • 5 g lemon peel


  1. Mix all the ingredients A until fluffy, then add the ingredients B, mix well. Add the ingredients C, stir again until well-mixed.
  2. Pour the mixture into an oval baking tray which has been layered with baking paper and spread with margarine. Bake the mixture in the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes, remove from the oven.
  3. Cut the mixture in elongated shape, bake again until dry at 100°C for 25 minutes, remove from the oven and let it cool.
  4. Store in an airtight container and serve it.
