FLORENTINE COOKIES RECIPE – Cookies variants are always interesting to see, to make, and to taste in an enjoyable moments with family or friends. Pate Sable
Ingredients A

  • 200 g Filma margarine
  • 150 g icing sugar
  • 25 g water

Ingredients B

  • 3 eggs yolk
  • 1 egg

Ingredients C

  • 330 g wheat flour
  • 25 g almond extract

Florentine Topping
Ingredients A

  • 25 g fresh cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 g glucose

Ingredient B

  • 50 g Filma margarine

Ingredients C

  • 75 g almond, sliced
  • 25 g salted dried watermelon seeds or dried plum seeds
  • 25 g pineapple sweets, thickly sliced


  1. Pate Sable: Mix ingredients A until well-mixed and becomes sand mixture. Add ingredients B, stir. Then add ingredients C, stir again until well-mixed. Prepare a square baking tray with 15 cm x 30 cm in size, cover with wax paper. Flatten the pate sable mixture into the baking tray, store in the freezer for 15 minutes until stiff.
  2. Florentine Topping: Cook ingredients A until boiled then add ingredients B, stir well. Add ingredients C and stir until condensed.
  3. Pour the Florentine topping mixture into the pate sable mixture, flatten. Cut the mixture in square shape then bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes, remove from the oven and take it out. Florentine cookies is now ready to be served.
