HAZELNUT SNOW COOKIES RECIPE – Do you know hazelnut? It is the nut of the hazel and therefore includes any of the nuts deriving from species of the genus Corylus, especially the nuts of the species Corylus avellana. It is also known as cobnut or filbert nut according to species. It is produced in commercial quantities in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Georgia, in the south of the Spanish region of Catalonia, in the UK county of Kent and in the American states of Oregon and Washington.   • 250 g cold butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g toasted hazelnut
  • 210 g wheat flour
  • 15 g green tea powder
  • 25 g dried milk
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract


  • 150 g dextrose


  1. Mix the cold butter together with powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. Blend the hazelnut together with 50 g wheat flour until become powder.
  3. Add the hazelnut powder, the rest of the wheat flour, the green tea powder, the dried milk, and the vanilla extract into the butter mixture. Stir.
  4. Round the mixture up and cover with air-proof plastic then store it in the freezer for 30-45 minutes.
  5. Mill the mixture with thickness of 0.7 cm, then cut into crescent shape.
  6. Bake in the oven at 160°C for 15-20 minutes until cooked. Remove from the oven.
  7. Sift the dextrose onto the cookies then store the cookies in the air-proof container.

Note: Make approximately 850 g.
