LADYFINGER BISCUIT RECIPE – It has a small slender elongated shape like ladies’ fingers. Then, it came an idea to call it as “ladyfinger”. At once, it looks like kastengel but it is different. Ladyfinger biscuit use a sprinkling of sugar, not cheese. For the ingredients detail and the way to make it, let’s savour the following Ladyfinger Biscuit recipe.


  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g wheat flour
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar
  • Powdered sugar
  • Margarine, to butter baking tray


  1. Prepare a baking tray, butter it with margarine and pour it with flour.
  2. Preheat the oven.
  3. Put the egg whites, half of sugar, and cream of tartar into a bowl and mix them together until stiff.
  4. In another bowl, mix the egg yolks and the rest of sugar until white.
  5. Add wheat flour to the eggs yolk mixture and briefly stir them together.
  6. Pour the mixture to the eggs white mixture a little by little while keep stirring with a whisk/ a food mixer.
  7. Put the mixture into a triangle bag, cut its tip with 1.5 cm in diameter.
  8. Pipe the ladyfinger mixture to the baking tray with 7 cm in length. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes.
