PEANUT CHOCOLATE COOKIES RECIPE – Peanut Chocolate Cookie is one of pastry variants because it has crunchy taste. It is made by being baked in the oven and mold as round shape. The chopped peanut make this cookies more delicious to taste. People usually serve it as one of the pastry in the festive occasions like Eid Al Fitr.   • 200 g margarine/ butter
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g wheat flour, sifted
  • 250 g baking powder
  • 750 g plain cooking chocolate, melted
  • 150 g peanut, roasted and roughly chopped


  1. Cream the margarine/ butter until pale and fluffy, then add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined and soft.
  2. Add the egg and stir well.
  3. Stir in half of the wheat flour, roughly chopped peanut and melted plain cooking chocolate, stir until combined. Add the rest of the wheat flour and stir again. Make sure if the mixture is well combined.
  4. Take a small piece of the mixture or about 1 tablespoon, put it into the baking tray which has been spread with margarine. Repeat with the remaining mixture until all of it is used up. Give 4 cm gap for each cookies in the baking tray.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 150° C until slightly golden or well baked. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Store in the air-proof container.
