PINDEKAS COOKIES RECIPE – Have you ever heard about Pindekas Cookies? Or have you ever tasted it? It is a kind of small round cookies having sweet and crunchy taste. Half of the cookies are dipped into a melted dark cooking chocolate and it also uses colorful sprinkles on the top of it. This cookies are usually served in Eid Day. Actually, there are some variants of this cookies so if you find that it has a difference from others then you should understand it. Here is the recipe of Pindekas Cookies.

Ingredients

  • 100 g margarine/ butter
  • 75 g peanut butter
  • 100 g palm sugar
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 25 g cornstarch
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • 100 g dark cooking chocolate, melted
  • Colorful sprinkles

Steps

  1. Mix the butter/ margarine together with the peanut butter until soft and fluffy, add the powdered sugar and palm sugar then mix until combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix again.
  2. Sift the wheat flour together with the cornstarch, baking powder, and baking soda then add them into the mixture little by little, stir until the mixture can be mold.
  3. Take a small piece of the mixture and round it off with 2 cm diameter, then dip half of the cookies in the melted dark cooking chocolate. Sprinkle the chocolate surface with colorful sprinkles.
  4. Prepare a baking tray which has been spread with margarine, then put the cookies into it. Give gap 4 cm among the cookies.
  5. Bake in the oven at 150° C until well baked, then remove from the heat and let it cool.
  6. Store Pindekas Cookies in the air-proof container.
