SULTANA COOKIES RECIPE – So many cookies are created and served in festive days like Eid, etc. As we know, we usually find the same cookies or pastry in our neighbors in Eid day because the cookies or pastry are very special to serve in the very special day. So, if you want to serve different cookies, it is the time to get a recipe of Sultana Cookies and make it in your free time. The recipe is shown below.

Ingredients A (creamed until pale and fluffy)

  • 150 g butter
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk

Ingredients B (sifted to be one)

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 30 g dried milk
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. salt

Ingredients C (mixed until well combined)

  • 200 g sultana, finely chopped (you can also substitute it with dates)
  • 100 g condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp. rum (you can also substitute it with water/ white grape juice/ pineapple juice/ apple juice/ apple cider/ or syrup with almond extract)


  1. Put the ingredients B into the ingredients A little by little then stir until unwell combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal parts.
  3. Roll both of the mixture with 2-3 mm in thickness.
  4. Spread the ingredients C into the rolled mixture then store the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until solid.
  5. Take the mixture out of the refrigerator then cut/ mold it according to your taste and put in the baking tray spread with butter.
  6. Spread the cookies with egg yolk.
  7. Bake in the oven at 160° C for about 20-25 minutes at medium heat until well baked.
  8. Remove from the heat and let the cookies cool then store them in the air-proof container.
