CRISPY TOFU RECIPE – Tofu is one of my favorite flexible ingredients to cook. It is cheap, lean source of protein, and worth tasting. However some people don’t eat much of it and when they do most of them want it crispy. Crispy tofu is so practical and only uses simple ingredients. The ways of making tofu with the use of bread  crumbs will make it crunchy and crispy. Crispy tofu can be your choice for having tasty protein-packed snacks or a nice complement for your noodle bowls or rice dishes. The fastest, easiest way to make crispy tofu for any dish brought to you today. Here’s how to make crispy tofu.

  • 5 tofu, cut into two
  • 2 eggs, beaten then added pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp wheat flour
  • 6 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 ml water to soak tofu
  • salt, pepper and broth powder
  • oil for frying


  1. Mash garlic and put it into a bowl of water to soak tofu. Add salt, pepper and broth powder then combine well. Marinade tofu for 30 minutes so that the seasoning absorbs well.
  2. Dip both sides of tofu a few moments into eggs mixture. Put into the flour and then into the egg mixture and finally put into bread crumbs. Do this step for each tofu pieces.
  3. Heat oil. Fry tofu in hot oil over medium heat until tofu turns brownish yellow in color, lift and drain. Serve with your favorite dish, dipping sauce or cayenne pepper.
